Kolkata: Sudipta Sarkar’s new Hindi film ‘Operation Mayfair’ is awaiting release. The film stars Jimmy Shergill, Ankur Bhatias, Vedieka Dutt, Hritiqa Chheber and Vedant Sarkar.
The story of the film is somewhat like this, a detective Amar Singh of the year 42. He is working with the London Police. He could not solve only one case in his entire career. That is Operation Mayfair’. This case is about a mysterious serial killer. From 2020, he started moving in London city. He selectively targeted only women. But no evidence was ever found after the murder. Nothing was detected even in forensic tests.
Dunde detective Amar Singh could not accept the failure of not solving this case. He retired from work and focused on studies and teaching. But this serial killer’s killing spree did not stop. A few years later, he committed a similar murder. Killed in the same manner and this time there is no sign. Amar called again from the police department.
Amar started investigating this case with police officer Lisa Verma and psychologist Sonia Kapoor. The responsibility of the forensic investigation of this case falls on Kevin Dakoster.
